Itinerary
Itinerary We will pick you up from your Hurghada resort and take you on a fantastic day trip to Mahmya, where you will board one of two Mahmya boats and travel to the island for about an hour. Off Hurghada's coast, Mahmya Beach can be found on the southern shores of Giftun Island National Park. "Protected Area" is the Arabic word for "mahmya." The boats moor at buoys off the pristine bay to safeguard the coral reef and its inhabitants, and smaller boats will take you to the shore. You are free to walk along the sandy beach, compete against other guests at beach volleyball, or simply unwind on the crystal-clear beach once you have arrived on the island. You can also snorkel among the impressive coral heads that are scattered throughout the clear lagoon. The restaurant serves seafood and Italian specialties for lunch, and the bar serves drinks later in the day. Finally, you'll sail back to the marina from Mahmya Island, where you'll be met and assisted before being taken to your Hurghada hotel.
